Attending Mass with a baby or small child can sometimes feel like more of a workout than a prayerful experience.  To help parents and guardians with small children have time for prayer and the rejuvenating celebration of the Holy Eucharist, Saint Ann Catholic Church offers a nursery for small children during the Sunday 8:30am and 11am Masses.  With the assistance of teen volunteers, adults cooperatively work to provide care for children ages 1 - 5 years immediately prior to and during Mass.

Please bring the children to the Parish Life Center across the parking lot from the church before Mass.

Children Liturgy of the Word

Offered during the 11am Mass on Sunday, Children’s Liturgy of the Word (CLW) offers children in grades K-4th age appropriate readings and prayers during Mass.  CLW is facilitated by an adult leader and assisted by high school students; the children learn about the same Scripture readings as the rest of the congregation. They are taught a simplified main message of the readings and are encouraged to share that message with their parents after Mass.

No pre-registration is necessary. All children are welcome and encouraged to attend. Father will invite all children before the First Reading to go with the adult leader to Saint Ann School for CLW.  The children will return to their parents during the Profession of Faith.

Youth Ministry

Do you want to be surrounded by peers who share your beliefs? Do you want to feel like you belong? Do you want to develop a humbled generosity to others? Do you want a closer relationship with Jesus?

Youth Group at Saint Ann Catholic Church is the place for you!  Youth Group provides fun and meaningful opportunities for the students in grades 7th-12th to learn together, serve together, pray together and play together. This is NOT catechetical in the sense of replacing religious education but it is a safe and caring environment where you can be surrounded by friends who share the same desire to deepen their faith.

Youth Group meets together on the first and third Sundays of each month after the 11:00am Mass.

Sunday School
Sunday School of Religious Education provides religious education for children, Kindergarten through 8th grade, who do not attend Catholic Schools.  Taught by active parishioner, this is a vital ministry of the Church and requires many energetic and faith filled adults who love to teach children and watch them blossom in their faith.

Students are divided into grades and are taught age appropriate curriculum under the guidance of the Director of Religious Education, Deacon Marty Mulloy.  Sunday School of Religion meets every Sunday from late August to May from 9:40 -10:45am.

Registration for Sunday School will be held after the Masses on the Last Sunday in August.  For more information or questions about the Sunday School of Religion classes, please contact Deacon Mulloy at 615-298-1782 or
